  The only reason that I didn't give this place 5 stars is the noise level. The front room has breath taking views of Lake Michigan, but I seriously cannot hear anything being said to me by anyone across the table. I always select the back room which is drab as, if no large parties are seated next to you, but more listening friendly. I get the fish fry here any day of the week. Love it! The service is fast and friendly.

  WOW! Fun - that's how I'd describe our first visit to Newport Shores. We were in Port Washington doing some shopping at Duluth Trading and Pear & Simple, just doing some pre-Thanksgiving sightseeing when we found Newport Shores by accident. We were driving along the water when we came upon Newport Shores - a quaint Wisconsin Supper club with spectacular lake views from 3 sides at the bar and most tables. Our bartender was super friendly, decked out in shorts and willing and ready to mix some classic Wisconsin Old Fashioneds for us. We really enjoyed our visit and we'll be back soon. We were so impressed with Port Washington area and Newport Shores we mentioned it to some good friends when we returned home and they immediately did some searching and decided to venture over to Port Washington for a New Year's Eve overnight and they celebrated New Year's Eve at Newport Shores and loved it...give them a visit - I believe you'll love their genuine Wisconsin hospitality and delicious food.

  I love showing off Port Washington to out-of-towners, and Newport Shores has become my family'
  s special request for Friday night fish. Salmon and perch are our favorites. Cozy in the winter. Party atmosphere in the summer. Lots of fishermen and people who have been out on their boats all day eat dinner there, so come as you are. Try the Schaum Torte for dessert. When they brought this giant mountain of strawberries and whipped cream to our table, everyone in the restaurant gawked. Great place to watch Packers games.
